Ukraine receives US-made Patriot guided missile systems to help shield from Russian airstrikes
Fox News Flash top headlines are here. Check out what's clicking on Foxnews.com. Ukraine's defense minister said Wednesday his country has received the U.S-made Patriot surface-to-air guided missile systems it has long craved and which Kyiv hopes will help shield it from Russian airstrikes during the war. "Today, our beautiful Ukrainian sky becomes more secure because Patriot air defense systems have arrived in Ukraine," Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov said in a tweet. Ukrainian officials have previously said the arrival of Patriot systems, which Washington agreed to send last October, would be a major boost and a milestone in the war against Moscow's full-scale invasion.

Elon Musk's Starlink satellite dishes CAN'T be camouflaged from Russian military attacks: experts
Ukrainian users of SpaceX's satellite internet network could be making themselves the targets of Russian military attacks, due to the distinctive appearance of the company's dishes, cybersecurity experts have warned. SpaceX's chief executive Elon Musk has been shipping thousands of Starlink terminals and powerful batteries to Ukraine, to help the country stay connected during its war with Russia. As well as providing internet to some of the country's stricken cities, the Ukrainian army has reportedly been making very successful use of Starlink for drone attacks on Russian tanks and positions. However, even Musk has acknowledged that the distinctive appearance of the Starlink terminals could make them targets in Russian airstrikes, and urged users to'place light camouflage over antenna to avoid visual detection'. Now experts have rubbished this suggestion, claiming that the terminals cannot be camouflaged because they need to have an obstructed view of the sky to connect to satellites.

Russian sappers arrive in Syria to clear mines in Palmyra
Russian combat engineers arrived Thursday in Syria on a mission to clear mines in the ancient town of Palmyra, the military said. The Defense Ministry said the sapper units were airlifted to Syria with an array of equipment, including state-of-the art robotic devices, to defuse mines at the 2,000-year-old archaeological site. Russian television stations showed Il-76 transport planes carrying the engineers landing before dawn at the Russian air base in Syria. Sunday's recapture of Palmyra by Syrian troops under the cover of Russian airstrikes was an important victory over Islamic State extremists who operated a 10-month reign of terror there. Lt. Gen. Sergei Rudskoi of the military's General Staff said that Russian military advisers had helped plan and direct the Syrian army's operation to recapture Palmyra.
